As a metropolitan province (büyükşehir), Ankara has one district municipality (ilçe belediyesi) in each of its 25 districts, and every neighbourhood belongs to the municipality of its own district. Çankaya has the most units (124, 9% of all units in the province), and Evren has the fewest (13 units).
