Format, Delivery & Sources
All administrative boundary levels are available as GeoPackage (.gpkg) or ESRI Shapefile (.shp), one format per variant. Polygon geometry is sourced from OpenStreetMap (OSM) data.
Integrated demographic data (2026) is sourced natively from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK).
Version: v5, updated October 2026; nests exactly with our neighbourhood layer (mahalle & köy).

Every level nests exactly with the other Geolocet layers, including the neighbourhood layer (mahalle and köy), which is not part of this package.
